With the economic recession, colleges and universities are struggling to motivate their reunion teams. In part, there’s a sense of malaise. In part, the reunion team members are too busy keeping their current jobs and other commitments.
Our suggestion: With unemployment running at an actual rate of 14% and getting worse, reach out to unemployed alumnae/i, asking them to help with the upcoming reunions. They have the time to help and are motivated to network.
